Sushi Cafe first opened on October 18, 2008. Located in the Renton Highlands, it is owned and operated by Jacky Lei and his family. Chef Jacky was formally trained by an accomplished Japanese sushi chef and worked all over the greater Seattle area for many years before establishing his own restaurant. Now you will often find Chef Jacky’s son, Aaron taking over as head sushi chef and the restaurant managed by his daughter, Garmyn.

Maki Rolls
A small segment cut from a long roll of rice and various other ingredients wrapped in a sheet of seaweed.
Gunkan
This style of sushi is called a gunkan-maki battle ship roll, since the tight nori wrap resembles battleships.
Sashimi
Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy consisting of very fresh fish sliced into thin peices.
Nigiri
Sushi consisting of a small ball of rice with a touch of wasabi and topped with raw fish or other seafood.Our work
Sushi Cafe features made to order premium cuts of sashimi, nigiri and a vast menu of specialty sushi rolls. Our restaurant also offers an extensive sake selection and a variety of Asian fusion kitchen dishes.
We believe in serving our customers food that our family is proud of and eat ourselves; a blend of our childhood memories growing up and some favorite dishes along the way.
We hope to expand people’s knowledge where tradition meets modernized sushi techniques and flavors.
